As described by prior reviewers, these shoes are hard to get on but comfy and warm. I used an indelible magic marker to make the exposed lining and the goofy thing at the back black so that I could wear these shoes with somewhat dressy pants. Unlike boots one is not obliged to take them off when visiting others\' houses.
