Brown boots - I looked for a long time for versatile brown boots. These were about the best I could find in terms of color and fit. The appearance is stylish but not trendy. Although the foot section was comfortable, the heel felt higher than it looks after an hour or so of wearing them. My main concern was the elastic around the top part of the boot. I have an average sized calf but the elastic felt tight on both legs. It hasn't loosened yet after several wearings so I am somewhat disappointed. You definitely will know that you are wearing boots. However, the foot part is fine and the brown leather looks rich, unlike that strange color which brown leather can often take.
