Contrary to the previous reviewer, I happen to greatly like the little Mephisto tag. Like the little crown in Rolexes or the Calatrava on Patek Philippes or the little horseman on Polo / Ralph Lauren apparel, this logoed tag is a uniquely distinguishing feature of Mephisto shoes, and I rather don't mind it showing. The problem is not the shoes, but the people who confuse Mephisto (and Ecco) shoes for dress shoes. These are comfort shoes, for every day business or casual use, and not dress shoes. Some of them are dressy enough to wear with a suit for routine business, but they are not dress shoes. If that is not clear, then look up some real dress shoes from say, Bruno Magli, Santoni, or Mezlan. Sure, in a dress shoe, I would not want a tag showing either. But it is your problem if you think this is a dress shoe, then complain about the tag.
